How to Write a Grant Proposal –
Impact, Methodology, and Timeline

There are at least three key elements to crafting an effective grant proposal. They include: the impact statement, methodology and timeline. This course will cover each of the three elements in depth. You will be able to demonstrate why impact is necessary, the audience and learn a simple formula for crafting an impact statement. A project methodology describes the activities that will be included in the grant project and why those activities were chosen. It is a critical component to enabling funders to understand that you can carry out the work associated with your grant project. This course will cover identifying tasks for carrying out a project, prioritizing tasks and defining milestones. Participants will learn how to construct a Gantt chart in order to display and schedule project activities.
