Recruitment for CSL’s IMLS Grant Project, EXCITE Transformation for Libraries Standalone Bootcamp 2 is open! Who can apply? ·
Individual librarians or library teams – school, public, academic. OVERVIEW of Standalone Bootcamp Program:
Three Days, Four Journeys… ·
In this fully-immersive EXCITE Bootcamp, you will learn to adopt the character and behavior of a “Collaborative Innovator” by learning the core skills, tools and
language that are essential for Library Leadership in the 21st
Century.

You will leave empowered to work with colleagues and partners in true collaboration, to engage your community to understand their needs.

You will learn to uncover and successfully implement
innovative ideas that will excite your community and transform the culture of your library. When?:
Bootcamp 2: April 2-4, 2019, 8:00a.m-5:30p.m. Where?:
Middletown Library Service Center, Middletown, CT Cost?:
Tuition covered by the grant, lunch and snacks will be provided.
Participants will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation if necessary for the 3 day bootcamp. To apply:

Based on the content of the video and the libguides, submit a statement of intent outlining how you see the EXCITE programming benefiting your library, community, staff, planning,
programming etc.

Selected participants must be able to attend the 3 day consecutive session.

Submit statement of intent applications no later than March 1st, 2019 Seats for Standalone Bootcamp 2 are limited to 24.
