Hi Maureen,

Students are able to take home their chromebooks (with parent permission slip) for the summer (we are 1:1), all rules/fees apply if they break.  They can also take up to 5 library books, same rules apply as during the year- if they don't return them in Sept., they are considered overdue and they will eventually be billed for them if they don't get returned (we do not charge late fees only if the book is lost or damaged).  Students can also borrow English books for summer reading.  All books and chromebooks are barcoded, so we keep track of what students borrow that way...Hope this helps.

Respectfully,

I am trying to gather information on school libraries that lend materials over the summer.  Are there any high schools that allow students to borrow over the summer?  If so, what are your policies?

Thanks for your help!
