Leslie Connor is terrific.  I saw her at RJ Julia.  Her books are appropriate for grades 5-8.  She may have other titles.  Waiting for Normal is one of my all-time faves.   Click here for her website.

My own kids had a visit from Leslie Connor and they LOVED her.  Not sure on the age range of her books, my own children are in a K-8 school.  She currently lives in CT.

I just got word that our PTO has provided funding for an author visit.  I am looking for suggestions of Connecticut authors that would be good for a K-4 student population.  We have not had a visit in a very long time so would like to make it really fun for the kids. Thanks for any suggestions and or contact information you might have.
