Hello fellow author lovers,
I shared this information on the listserv a month or so ago, but have added more detail. I would love to share author Marc Tyler Nobleman with another school on October 2, 2019. He is an engaging writer of narrative nonfiction, and he visited my two schools a few years ago. His visit focused on two of his books: Bill, the Boy Wonder: the Secret Co-creator of Batman, and Boys of Steel: the Creators of Superman. Since then he has written two more books: "Thirty Minutes Over Oregon" and "Fairy Spell" which are both on the Cooperative Children's Book Center list at the University of Wisconsin. During his presentation, Marc shares the research behind his books and keeps the audience captivated. Narrative nonfiction ties in with the Readers and Writers Workshop model (Lucy Calkins) which many schools are using. A half day visit is $1,000, but I think it's worth it. If you have any questions, or are interested, please contact me.
