Good morning librarians,
Please excuse the cross posting.
I wanted to share with you information about the Middletown Library Service Centers NEW booking system. Within this new, visually appealing, request system, libraries (school and public) are able to request:
Current Nutmeg Nominee book sets
Book discussion sets (Picture book, Elementary/Middle grade, Graphic novels, Young Adult, and Adult)
Board Book Sets
STEM kits (ozobots, snap circuits, NASA kits, and more)
Music kits
And Book props (Velcro kits)
One page, with a conveniently located drop down box, allows librarians to request board book sets for baby storytime, the Dash and Dot classroom set for a winter STEM program, the Go Away Big Green Monster felt kit for a preschool visit
in October, and the Unbound Nutmeg Nominee book set for book club, without leaving your desk.
To request items you’ll only need your first and last name, email, library/agency/school name, and deliverIT
number.
Take a look at our
new system:
https://cslib.libcal.com/equipment?lid=4834&gid=8328 but keep in mind it’s a work in progress. There are some pages where all the images and information haven’t
been uploaded but you can still request the items. For any questions or assistance please call the Library Service Center at 860-704-2200.
