Hi All,

There is a new Facebook group you might be interested in called Teacher Storytellers. If you tell stories in school or want to know more about it, search for Teacher Storytellers as a Facebook group. Gail N. Herman and I created the group. It's a place for teachers to share how they use storytelling in their classes. It's just getting started. Join us.

Subject: [CASL-L] Introduction

Hello School Librarians.

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Kym and I’m the new Children and YA Consultant for the state on Connecticut. I’ve worked in Youth Services for various public libraries for seven years (West Haven, Easton, Stamford, and Stratford as a sub), I was a member of our state library association board for five years and have settled onto our annual library conference planning committee, this will be my third year.

I just wanted to let you know that I am here and at your disposal. If you think there is any way that I can offer support or assistance please feel free to email or call. I am here to help.

Best,

Kym
