The Westport Library, in partnership with the Westport Public Schools, is proud to announce beloved bestselling author R. L. Stine as the keynote of the Second Annual Saugatuck StoryFest. Stine, the author of the wildly popular “Goosebumps” series which have sold more than 45 million copies, will speak at the Library on Saturday, September 28 at 1 p.m.

Stine joins a roster of authors for the festival taking place September 26 – 28, 2019 at the newly-renovated Westport Library. This year’s StoryFest boasts an impressive lineup of award-winning authors and creatives representing a variety of genres and will build upon the success and diversity of the inaugural festival held last October.

Saturday, September 28 is a full day of panels and author signings in the Library’s new Forum featuring:

YA superstars Nic Stone, Tiffany Jackson, and L. L. McKinney

2019 Stoker Award winners Gwendolyn Kiste and Paul Tremblay

Past and Current Connecticut Nutmeg Award nominees Jake Burt, Geoff Rodkey, Susan Hood and Ibi Zoboi

The Library’s Children’s Department will host a day’s worth of interactive experiences with StoryFest’s picture book authors.
