Connecticut Library Consortium (CLC) member K-12 schools can purchase Playaways at a discount from the following CLC vendors: 

 

 

More information is on CLC’s Non-Print Media Contracts page, plus call or email me for assistance. I’m happy to answer any questions.  

 

One of the things you’ll want to look for on the page is the pink box near the top. Look for the hyperlink with the words bid contracts page. This is a password-protected page for CLC members, so you’ll need to login with your CLC username (typically your work email address) and password (easy to reset if you forgot it). From the bid contracts page you can download detailed member guides for our nonprint discounts, as well as print and supplies.

Hi Kirsten,

I believe you can purchase playaways directly from them and still get a CLC discount. Please don’t quote me on that but you might want to reach out to Julie from CLC. I’ve cc’d her in this email. She’s one of the CLC school library reps.

Hi all,

 

I had a great time at the conference last week! Thank you to all who made it happen!!

 

I used to buy my playaways from Baker and Taylor with our CLC discount but now that they're not an option, who is the best vendor for playaways? Hoping to get a good price on some new ones (not necessarily new releases but new to us) since I have about $500 to spend on them this year for grade 4-5.
