Hi Jenny!

At the Stratford Library, 398.2 was reorganized into "Tales". Call numbers became J Tales Cinderella, J Tales Goldilocks, J Tales Snow White, etc. There are also sections for tales specific to geographic locations or creators such as J Tales Germany, J Tales Aesop. It's worked very well, especially for patrons looking for variations on particular fairy tales.

Hello all -

I am working this year to make the 398.2 section more useful and better organized for my students & teachers.

Has anyone else done something like this? Do you have any tips or thoughts or have you seen any blog posts about doing this?

Thank you in advance!
Jenny
