Subject: [Money Smart Week] New Year New Resource New Website

To MSW Librarians:

Happy New Year!  Wanted to check-in early this year to thank all of you for providing financial literacy programming in your community, especially during Money Smart Week!

And to share a couple of things with you.  The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) will be conducting a survey on use of financial resources that will open in late January.  We’ll be sending the message on the survey in a couple of weeks. It is a short survey (10 minutes) so hope many of you will take time to complete it to help get some good national data.

And ALA recently has published a new title “Rainy Day Ready: Financial Literacy Programs and Tools” that may be of interest.

And a reminder to check out the new Money Smart Week website, and make sure you are signed up!
