Hey folks,

I just wanted to chime in and say if you think you’re going to need additional copies of nutmegs and you would like to borrow them from the service center, I would request them as soon as you can. Most of the intermediate books are already booked through March, but a good amount of the Middle Grade are available.

To book the titles visits https://cslib.libcal.com/reserve/equipment/mlsc use the drop down arrow to select which Nutmeg group you would like and you can request the books from them.

You can either come to the Middletown Service Center to pick them up, or they can be delivered to the public library of your choice, but keep in mind that we don’t have complete control over the DeliverIT system and we can’t guarantee the books will arrive the exact day you want them but we do our best. I would request the book for a week or two before you actually need them if you’re having them delivered.

You can only request two titles at a time (that’s just for the current nutmegs) and feel free to reach out if you need any help.

Best,
Kym

Hello,

I am in the same boat.  I was just hired this week as the new LMS at an elementary school and was presented with the task of running the Battle of the Nutmeg Books…I am uncertain of what this will entail and am seeking any resources/assistance if anyone runs this event as well.

Thank you!

Good morning,

I am a first-year librarian, and I was wondering if anyone has a model March Madness for the 2020 Middle School Nutmegs that they would be willing to share, as well as any tips and tricks for running a successful March Madness!

Thank you!
