Hello Jessica,

We have viewmasters purchased with technology funds in our district.  Expeditions lend nicely to curriculum, but we are having issues with running the teacher lead ones.  Only the student directed options are working.  Sometimes wifi is an issue on the ipods when using them.

Respectfully,

Hello All - My department head and I are working on a grant to help us integrate AR and VR experiences in our district. We are considering usage in elementary, middle, and high school. Currently, we are looking for information on how other districts use AR/VR. If you have any experience with this, would you please reply with any of the following types of information:
  • Grade levels you have implemented AR/VR with
  • Types/examples of projects
  • Are your students mostly consuming AR/VR or creating with it?
  • Have you been able to easily find/make curriculum connections?
  • Have you found enough existing resources to make use of AR/VR easy and meaningful for teachers and students?
  • What technology did you purchase and how did you acquire it (grants for example)?
  • Have you been able to use the technology to support SEL and/or diversity education?
  • Were there any major concerns from teachers (time, # of students, implementation, etc.?)
  • Have you received any feedback from stakeholders on the use of this type of technology (positive or negative)?
  • Any other pros/cons?
Thank you very much. It is so helpful to have this community to learn from.

Jessica
