Hi, I just registered for this site and it recognized that my school email was a CT school email address. They sent me a reply email with a link, and once I clicked it I returned to their site and it is now branded CT State Dept. of Education  in the upper left corner, no code needed.

I hope this helps!

Subject: [CASL-L] Google Classroom and COVID-19

Please excuse the cross-posting.

Our school is a Google Classroom school and we are working on contingency plans in case we have to close due to COVID-19. I was asked to look into whether or not Google Classroom will be able to handle the traffic if thousands of GC schools close due to the virus and begin to use GC for assignments.

If you have already looked into this and gotten an answer, could you please share?

Thanks!

I just created an account, but was not asked to provide a code. As long as you use your district issues email to create the account, it seems to work.

Please see this inquiry regarding a code needed for Lexile Quantile Tools.  Does anyone know about this or what they code is?

I was using the most amazing tool, Lexile Quantile Tools to find books at a certain Lexile for my nonfiction book clubs and discovered that Connecticut is a participating member and we can get premium access, but we have to have a code, does anyone know what that is?

Good afternoon CASL,

I am looking for input on PenPal Schools. Does anyone have any insights on it? I am looking for a safe way to get timid teachers to provide global communications in class. Penpal Schools signed our Privacy agreement, so we can use here, and I will be sharing the program with teachers.
Any tidbits, anecdotes, etc., that you have to share would be much appreciated.

And if you haven't seen it.... penpanschools.com

Thanks
