Hi Kate,

Here are all the reference sheets created by Do Ink.  I find that my kids just need to watch the video example and they are ready to get started.

Hi Everyone,

I’m starting a green screen video project with my 5th graders.  I found a tutorial online that is produced by the company.  Does anyone have or know where to find a simple direction sheet I can give my students?  I thought I’d ask before reinventing the wheel.  Thanks!

Kate

This was webinar was rescheduled due to technical difficulties. Please register again if you are interested in attending the live broadcast.

When budget cuts are threatened, it is important to get started quickly on a campaign to safeguard your own position or budget.  Also, Hhow can you help friends and colleagues who are being impacted by cuts?

During this webinar, you will learn smart ways to engage the community in the face of crisis, and how to get organized across a district. Join John Chrastka from EveryLibrary as he discusses ways to prevent potential problems and how to proactively position yourself if they come. If there is a threat to your position or budget – or to other school libraries or librarians across your district – know how to mobilize people to help you fight back.

John and Shannon will discuss:

  • What to do if you hear that cuts are coming?
  • Who else cares about the work you do?
  • When do you sound the alarm?
  • Who forms the core of a pro-library coalition?
  • How do you help others when your position is safe?

GUESTS

  • John Chrastka, Executive Director, EveryLibrary
  • Shannon McClintock Miller, Future Ready Librarian Spokesperson, K–12 District Teacher Librarian, Van Meter Community School (IA) (@shannonmmiller)

Register even if you can't attend the live broadcast as the video link will be emailed after the event.
