A little humor... I feel like we can lighten things up for our elementary kids...school is stressful with all the glitches... parents are stressed... the news is frightening...so I'm making these cute little messages.
I started creating it yesterday and posted the first today. This confirmed to me that I wasn't being ridiculous: After showing a funny dog video, an anchor on this morning's national news said "dogs make things better!"
Consider creating your own virtual library pet! If we can make one child feel a little less stress, it's worth it.

PS. I am using Padlet for other projects and wanted to use Slides for this project (because sometimes there's a lot of traffic on Padlet.... but I publish the Slides to the web so it appears like a webpage. We will see how it plays out.
