Hello!

I would try to send an email to Penguin getting permission to be sure.  Additionally, it is more likely to be okay if you share a read aloud via a closed platform such as your Google Classroom, but even then you can't guarantee that a student or teacher won't screencast it and share it publicly.  It's unlikely but possible which is why if I were you I would try to reach out to the publisher directly.  If you are on social media such as Twitter or Instagram, tagging them in a question is sometimes effective!  Or others may have had the same question and received a response.

Hope this helps!!!

And I am so excited to watch this movie:)

Hi all,

I hope everyone doing well! I wanted to record myself reading Stargirl for my students. I was going to do this chapter by chapter so each recording only had a single chapter at a time and post 1-2 chapters per week on our school community Google Classroom for all students. I checked the publisher's guide for Penguin Random House and it does allow this, but the wording seems to apply only to picture books. Do you think I can post Stargirl?
Thanks for your help!
