This looks like a great extension. I shared this with my IT department, and was told that this company has not yet signed off on the CT Data Privacy Agreement. He has sent them a request to sign the CT Data Privacy Form. Hopefully, the company will do so.

If you would like the ðŸ™‹"raise hand" feature in Google Meet, then here is an easy way to get it added in.  Use the Nod extension, which allows students to "raise hand" during a Google Meet. This can be very helpful if you have a large group.

Below are the steps to get the extension and the info about why you may want it:
1. You and students need to add the extension. (Only those who have it can use/see the hand raised feature)
2. The extension gives the ability for a student to raise their hand, give a thumb's up, applaud, and a couple of other emojis.
3. Teachers can have all students muted, ask a question and have class respond with an emoji.
4. A reminder(s) of how to use the feature should be given as this could cause a student to be off task during a meet.

Here is what it looks like in the upper left corner of the screen:

You can delete the pop up by hovering over the emoji and clicking the x that appears.
