Here are some tools that may clarify how the various digital book platforms are related to each other or not. We created them to help our staff, students, and families better understand what digital book platforms are available to them from our district vs. the town vs. the state and how they are different. Hopefully, these help anyone that is still somewhat confused.

Just to clarify...Sora is in addition to Destiny, correct?  It gives you access to everything on the state library system.  Or is it something else?  Thanks so much for helping me understand these platforms.

If you want access to the titles in the State Library system you can access them through RB Digital https://iconnct.rbdigital.com/

We’ve even managed to provide access to students without a library card because us to this point, it seemed that a lot of student’s didn’t have one. Direction on how to access RB Digital without a card can be found here https://libguides.ctstatelibrary.org/dld/children/COVID-19.

Best,
Kym
