There is a new option in Google Meet, called Present Chrome Tab.  This allows you to show a video and the student(s) can both see it and hear the audio.  You can also hear each other.  And since it's a new tab, you can split your screen with the Meet video.

I wish you could. However, there are three options to be able to see students while sharing the screen. Second device is probably the easiest. BUt option three with re-sizing windows could be doable too.

Does anyone know if and how you can split your screen during a Google Meet with a student to share a video with them. I know you can share your screen but is there a way to have it split some how so you still see one another? A staff member asked me this.
