We are a K-2 school.  We're doing a Google Site for Summer Reading and Math and adding other options like coding links and offline activities.
The town public library put together a great Summer Reading Program.  We usually partner with them and do the Governor's Summer Reading Challenge as well.
Do streamline this year, we are just offering the program through the public library.  The librarian made a video for us and I'm going into Google Meet with classes to talk about the summer website.
The public library is using a program called ReadSquared for students to use online reading logs to tally books.  Students can print out their lists to share with teachers in fall. The public library also sends us participation statistics.

Be Well,
Sharon

Hello,

My school is trying to figure out a summer reading program. We are debating between creating a Google Classroom or a Google Site. Is anyone else facing this issue? Has anyone created a resource for summer reading and summer math?

Also, the reading specialist is trying to find a way to tally books students read each week. She wants this tally to also keep track of all the books the individual students have read. I was thinking an excel sheet.

Thank-you! You all ROCK!
