Hi, everyone!

A bit more information on the Google certified coaching program:

To pursue this, a coaching candidate needs to be both level one and level two Google certified.

Also, this program is for people who work as instructional coaches, so not really appropriate for classroom teachers. To earn the certification your application must include two full coaching cycles with one or two teachers. If your application is accepted and you are granted this coaching certification, then to maintain the certification you have to log at least 100 coaching hours over the course of the school year. So not for everyone, and excellent for people who are working full time as instructional coaches!

Take care,

Jackie

Good afternoon,

See the recently launched Google Certified Coach program:

For those who already have their Google Certified Educator credential, you can now pursue the Coach certificate as well. Expect about 20 hours of self-study throughout the year, with a focus on the following:

  • Aligning coaching with school and district goals
  • Building strong teacher relationships
  • Measuring coaching impact

There could not be a better time for more robust technology integration coaching in our state and elsewhere.
