Hello!

I have been told that students will not be coming to the library so no makerspace for now (unless I figure out some mobile, safe options) but I will be able to deliver books to advisories in the morning.  And I suggested (based on a Barb Johnson idea) to have a iPad in every classroom with a google meet link that students and teachers could use to connect with me in the library since I probably won't be super mobile during the day.  I am thinking of all the ways I can join classrooms virtually such as Shannon, Dave, and I were doing during distance teaching (Live from the Library episodes, and author visits).

I am also going to be asking for 5 tubs for book returns--one for each day--to be able to let them sit for the recommended time period before checking them in and recirculating.

Other than than, not sure what's going to happen but doing my best to remain optimistic and tell myself it's temporary.

Lol,
Melissa

Hello- Has anyone's school drafted a reopening plan that already includes specifics for the school library?  I will be meeting with my principal regarding this soon, and he intimated he would like to hear my suggestions in the context of what other schools have approved.
If anyone has anything to share with me, I'd be much obliged!
Regards,
Gillian
