Good morning,

As a reminder, I am recruiting participants for my doctoral study, Quality and Rigor of Digital Badges as an Educator Professional Learning Design: Development of an Evaluation Rubric and a Landscape Survey of Digital Badges. The study will be used to fulfill requirements for a degree of Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from the University of West Georgia. The purpose of this study is to explore digital badges, or micro-credentials, as a professional learning design for K-12 teachers and how educators can conceptualize the quality and rigor of digital badges and facilitate the evaluation of digital badges for professional learning.

As a participant, you would be asked to complete a pre-use survey, use a rubric to evaluate a digital badge, and complete a post-use survey to provide feedback about the rubric and its use. All responses will be kept anonymous. Your participation should not take more than 30 minutes.

 If you wish to participate, please click on the following link to begin the session at your convenience within the next week. Study Survey Link
 If you do not wish to participate, there is no action required.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at this email or at 860-990-2779.

Thanks,
Kristine Woods
