AASL is once again capturing data related to school and school library plans for the upcoming school year. The survey is now open to any school librarian (building, district supervisor, educator of school librarians) and closes on Wednesday, August 12 at 5:00 p.m. Central.

As states, districts, and schools plan what the 2020-2021 school year will look like for educators and learners, AASL is documenting what unfolds to capture the school librarian's vital role during these unprecedented times. The data collected in this series of back-to-school snapshot surveys will inform development of AASL resources and advocacy messages to support school librarians and address your evolving needs.

Please take a moment to complete the survey and share the link www.ala.org/aasl/snapshot widely with your colleagues as data will be used to compare results over time and to report collectively on the role of school librarians at specific intervals during the school year.
