Hello,
In the spring we were teachers within the classroom teachers' GCs.  There were so many topics listed w/in it was very difficult for specials teachers to navigate.  We also then got every assignment they posted in our Drive.  Even w/ notifications turned off, it was messy.
This year we are setting up our own GCs for each classroom teacher.  We plan to post in similar ways so, even though there are multiple, they look similar.

Good afternoon,

A number of districts are adopting the GC home room model with each subject being a topic in GC for the exact reason Christina mentioned - one place for families to check. However, for each specialist that also means multiple posts and being listed as a Co-teacher in those GC’s. I would recommend turning off notifications, otherwise your emails will be inundated.

Hi Mary,
We are trying to limit the number of classrooms that our younger students have to check so as specialists we are posting in each homeroom class in K-3.

Hi All,

Our specialists are trying to figure out the best way to set up Google Classroom for our students and ourselves. We are a K-3 school with approximately 630 students. We could set up by grade level or by class. However, if we set up by class each of us would have 29 or 30 classes.  Just looking for how things have worked for others. Suggestions welcome!

Good luck to everyone!
