HI!  I'm using paper with K but Seesaw with 1-2.  I created an activity based on Shannon Miller's Boookhub.  What i love is that students
can leave me a voice message so they can be more specific or request books not on the choice board.

I did paper menu for K/1 the first time and sent families a video showing them how to log into Destiny Discover with their child's Google account. I had to go into the back office to limit the number of holds because some were going "hold crazy."  Lol

The remote learners pick up the books in the office.

Hi Sharon,

If anyone isn't aware, Destiny has Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities now. Hooray! My tech department was able to set this up with Destiny. This has made login SO much easier for my students in grades 3 and up. They totally are getting the hang of searching/filtering and placing holds on books.

My K - 2 will start "ordering" books next week. (We just started school last Thursday.) Kindergarten will probably use a paper form to order a "type" of book. Grades 1 & 2 will use a Google Form that they'll access with a QR code via iPad camera. The form is still in my head at this point.  LOL.

Best,
~Val

I know we started a couple of resources about book circulation.  How is it going?  What would you share with those of us, that haven't started yet.
Should we capture this on one of our shared resources?  Just wasn't sure where.

Thanks for the input,
Sharon
