For the past several years, I have enjoyed visiting Washington, DC for the National Book Festival.  However, this year the Festival will be virtual.  Saturday, September 25th is children's day: Mo Willem, Sophie Blackall, Jerry Craft, and many other children’s authors will be presenting.

Listening to authors tell the backstories is a treat and sharing those stories with students is a sure way to ignite a motivation to read for pleasure.

They also record the presentations so you can access past Festivals as well.
