Dr. Monica Burns is a Curriculum and EdTech Consultant, Apple Distinguished Educator, and Founder of ClassTechTips.com. She has spoken at large conferences such as ISTE, FETC, SXSWedu, TechInnovate, and EdTechXEurope, and now she will be presenting just for Connecticut school librarians on topics you've told us are important to you:

    Tech-Friendly Instructional Design

Student Engagement in both Virtual and In-Person Classrooms

Formative Assessment Tips to Elevate Student Voice

Breakout sessions with grade-level peers to exchange ideas for implementing concepts and training. Also, this is your opportunity to share with and learn from your colleagues from across the state! Hear what they are doing well. Brainstorm solutions to challenges. Collaborate in making plans for bringing new concepts, skills, techniques, and resources into your libraries and schools.

Collaborative readers advisory experience - Discover what books your colleagues are recommending, and how they are putting books into the hands of in-person and digital learners. (Attendees from last year's Election Day PD raved about this opportunity!)

Follow up sessions - Following this event, CLC will schedule follow-up sessions so you can reconvene with your colleagues, share your successes, and continue to build shared resources. We'll have sessions for elementary, middle, and high school - come to any or all!
