Hi Celeste,
I had the same issue and contacted their tech support.  They provided me with a link kids could use to bypass that issue.  Good luck!

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to have students use researchitct.org from home and they are prompted to enter their Google emails, but it dead ends. Previously students needed public library cards, but sadly, not all of them have them yet.

Any suggestions or workarounds that any of you have discovered?

Thanks,
Celeste
