Many of the authors are quite affordable with virtual visits.  And during World Read Aloud Day--there are tons of opportunities for free.

I think we have to remember that this is their livelihood and they have been hit hard through the pandemic as well. So these fees are very reasonable.

I saw you had Kevin Kurtz on your list... I've had him and he's very good too.

Here's just a few that we will be booking this year:

http://martha-brockenbrough.squarespace.com/school-visits.  (One of this year's COCBA nominees- scroll to the bottom of her page for prices for Skypes)

http://www.thisismarciecolleen.com/school-visits.html.  (another Charter Oak nominee- 15 minute free and $100 for 45 minutes---a bargain)

https://www.nancychurnin.com/new-page-1. Not sure how much, but we had her for Charter Oak one year and then for GRA and she's fabulous.

Does anyone have a list of authors who are willing to do affordable Author Visits.  I'm putting together a list of names to bring back to the Literacy Committee at my school.  So far we have on the list...

Kevin Kurtz-Nonfiction author $30/half hour
Anica Mrose Rissi- $75 for a 20-minute session (Q&A), $150 for a 45-minute session (writing workshop or presentation plus Q&A), or $500 for a full-day visit with a single school (up to four sessions of up to 45 minutes each).
Audrey Vernick-not sure on pricing yet.
Thank you in advance!
