That's what my district just did for parent conferences last week- it did have to go through the child's email though (Google to Google)

Can you just create appointment slots in Google Calendar? It's easy to do, easy to set how long each slot is, easy to share with others, and it creates a Google Meet link for every session, so it's there if you need it.
