MUSH! with Noggin, the sled dog!

Karen Land—writer, public speaker, and three-time participant in the 1,049-mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race across Alaska—and her Alaskan husky, Noggin, are looking up the trail towards 2021 TAILS AND TALES Summer Reading!

2020 is Karen’s 20th anniversary year! She has given over a thousand talks in schools and public libraries in almost every state. Karen loves providing MUSHING talks for always-eager students and enthusiastic library patrons. Dogs, the sport of mushing, and Alaska inspire a diverse audience, making the event fun and interesting for all ages.

Providing the libraries are open and it is safe for patrons of all ages, Karen and Noggin will be on the road for the entire summer season! Karen and Noggin can do their presentation OUTDOORS or INDOORS. If you think you might be interested, drop Karen a line and she can get you on the planning list. With "TAILS AND TALES" as the 2021 Summer Reading Slogan, Noggin is ready to share her tail-wagging tales-from-the-trail with you!
