Thinkalong™ is an evidence-based, interactive, multimedia tool for guiding learners through structured discussions around topics and current events that directly affect their lives and communities. Thinkalong™ can be used in libraries, summer camps, after school programs, and traditional or blended classrooms. It supports individual, small group, and whole-group learning.
In this training, the Thinkalong team will engage Participants in a live, structured discussion about a pre-determined topic. There are limited Participant spaces, and Participants will agree on the topic and consume approximately 1 hour of public media content in preparation for the discussion. Observers will have access to view the structured discussion as well as brief overviews of thinkalong.org, other structured discussion strategies and the 5 Key Questions of Media Literacy from the Center for Media Literacy.
