I was lucky enough to get my rainbow library a few weeks ago. I encourage everyone to apply! I got some wonderful books and promotional materials for my library.

Greetings, 2019 Rainbow Library Recipients!

We hope you, your loved ones, and your students are doing well. We're very excited to announce that over 180 Connecticut schools and libraries now have a Rainbow Library! Check out our map of all our current and upcoming locations in Connecticut.

Help us get more CT schools/libraries signed up for the Rainbow Library! Please forward the below blurb to your contacts and post the graphic on social media! Note: If you received this email directly from us (or if your school/library is on our map), please do not sign up again. We are raising funds to send Rainbow Library *expansion sets* to existing CT Rainbow Library locations later in 2021. More to come on this down the line.

Request a *FREE* Rainbow Library

Connecticut school or library staff: Request a FREE set of LGBTQ+ affirming K-12 books! GLSEN Connecticut will be mailing LGBTQ+ affirming text sets to Connecticut schools and libraries in early 2021 that were not part of the 2019 or 2020 batches. Resources are limited, and will be prioritized on a first come, first served basis. Head to rainbowlibrary.org/connecticut to request yours today!

Thank you for helping grow the Rainbow Library here in Connecticut, and please reply to this email if you have any questions!

Best,

“The best way to measure how much you've grown isn't by inches or the number of laps you can now run around the track, or even your grade point average-- though those things are important, to be sure. It's what you've done with your time, how you've chosen to spend your days, and whom you've touched this year. That, to me, is the greatest measure of success.” - R.J. Palacio, Wonder
