Just wanted to share my personal experience with the BWB drop location in Bristol. The box is inside the Bristol Transfer Station complex and IS NOT accessible unless you are a resident of Bristol and have a paid transfer station permit. I stopped by yesterday with about 100 books for discard and they were very kind to let me drop them off (I don't live in Bristol) in exchange for my promise to spread the word this donation location is not available to the general public. One other thing to note is the drop boxes are not that large; a bit smaller than the typical clothing donation bin you see in various places.

Hi Cheryl and School Librarians,

BetterWorldBooks - lots of drop spots around the state plus you can contact them for large donations.

What if I have a lot of books?

We’ll take ‘em. For large donations please contact us at clientservices@betterworldbooks.com.

Please note I'm not connected with the organization professionally or personally. I learned about this site from my local library because at this time the library is not accepting donations.

Thank you Melissa Thom for the shout out about the School Librarian Roundtables. We have two more next week. Please join us for great conversation and collaboration.
