I just signed up for Libro.fm in late November. I did not have to prove my ALA standing. They did however, check my employment with my district. Long as you're an active school librarian, it shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you for sharing again Carrie!!

I also am a member of the ALC program from Libro and have been for over a year now. I am always astounded at the number of great titles that are offered every month.  

As far as I remember, I didn't have to provide any additional proof that I was a librarian when I signed up, but it is possible that may have changed since I have joined. I also did not have to start a paid subscription, but ended up canceling my Audible account in exchange for Libro.fm! It was the same price and all my purchases benefit indie bookstores!! I do remember that it took a little while for the service to become active after applying so have patience and if you don't have success, send an email to the libro.fm folks!!

This info has been shared before, but if you have not already taken a few minutes to sign up for Libro.fm's ALC program, then definitely take a look at January's audiobook list. It is GREAT—49 audio books all free for the taking. 

As usual, I downloaded over $300 worth of audio books. I am so appreciative of companies like this one that take good care of school librarians!
