I pretty much book a session for every home room with an author.  There are so many authors on Kate Messner’s spreadsheet offering free sessions. They are always so kind and  eager to be a part of the day.  In addition, with older students we have created into graphics based on research about literacy issues worldwide.

Hello everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful break and are feeling energized again.

If you are interested in connecting for World Read Aloud Day (or week) which takes place Feb. 3 this year, here is the blog post from Shannon Miller with the links to connect with other educators or authors (on Kate Messner's site).

I'm celebrating all week and would love to connect with some CT folks too!

Best,
Jenny
