During this difficult year, many educators have had to find online resources to provide lessons for their students.  Sponsored by Antioch University Seattle, this fantastic lineup of award-winning authors and illustrators is free to anyone seeking a multicultural literary experiences for their students. Librarians and teachers are encouraged but not required to support the artists and enrich students' experience by first purchasing and reading the books. Feel free to share with your educator colleagues.

Traci Sorrel 
Classified: The Secret Career of Mary Golda Ross, Cherokee Aerospace Engineer 
Mary Golda Ross designed classified airplanes and spacecraft as Lockheed Aircraft Corporation’s first female engineer. Cherokee author Traci Sorell and Métis illustrator Natasha Donovan trace Ross’s journey from being the only girl in a high school math class to becoming a teacher to pursuing an engineering degree, joining the top-secret Skunk Works division of Lockheed, and being a mentor for Native Americans and young women interested in engineering.
