I am so happy that anyone can vote. I try to read all the picture books to our 1st to 6th graders.

It's almost time to start collecting votes for the 2021 Nutmeg Book Awards!

Voting will open starting April 1 and end April 30

Based on feedback, ALL STUDENT VOTES count for any level! We are no longer limiting what votes count so please collect votes from all students who read the nominees. It's ok if they are outside of the targeted age bands.

Below are links to Google Forms that can be used to collect votes electronically from your students. The links will prompt you to MAKE A COPY of these forms so you can personalize and share them with your students/patrons to collect votes for your library.

Elementary 2-3 Student Voting

Intermediate 4-6 Student Voting

Middle School 7-8 Student Voting

High School 9-12 Student Voting

We did not make paper ballots this year, thinking that most votes are collected electronically. If anyone creates a printable ballot and doesn't mind sharing, we can post it on our website for others to use. Thanks!

Once you have closed voting for your library,  please tally all your votes and submit ONE response per library. Please make sure you have collected all the votes so you only submit the form once.
We have merged the library submission form this year so it's just one form for all 4 levels.
Librarian Final Tally Submission Form

As usual, we anticipate announcing the results on or by May 15th.

We hope everyone enjoyed all the nominees this year!

Thank you for sharing and promoting the Nutmeg Book Award.
2022 Nominees will be announced to the public on May 1st!

Please let me know if you have any questions.
