Good Morning,

I am in the process of cataloging books the ELA teachers use with students. These books are housed in a separate location (ELA storage room) and the teachers want the LMC to manage circulation. They also only want these books to be used by their current grade level. I am wondering if anyone else has this similar situation.

If I hide the copies, the students cannot see or place a hold on these, and teachers want students to be able to place holds and view books.

My possible solution -  create a duplicate title in Destiny and place these in a Collection/Resource List so all of the titles and copies for the unit are easily searchable. This way the books are separated from the ones in the library. (I do use sublocation, too). This does make a duplicate title in Destiny. And I am wondering if it will cause confusion for all patrons if searching for a book and seeing two entries for the same title.

Just wondering thoughts or cautions that you may have.

Thanks so much for your time. :)
