Casey - fortunately I have never been asked to cover classes, and they have never sent a class to the library because of a shortage.

It’s worse than ever this year, and not only when media specialists are covering classes, but also when one substitute covers multiple classes without coverage in the Media Center. Today we had one substitute covering six teachers’ classes in the MC, closed to all other students. It’s unfair to students, teachers, and substitutes, and I’m wondering how much worse it is in other districts.
