Hey Y'all,

Give this a try; seemed to work for our genrefied collection:

Destiny > Reports > Library Reports > Title/Copy Data (under "Statistics" heading) > Extract; wait for Destiny to Complete > Click "XML" > Open MS Excel > File: Open > Browse for your "ExtractDataCopiesJob....".xml file > As an XML table > OK > Click OK at "schema" dialogue box > Filter column K "Sublocation" and any other desired columns.

It seems like a lotta steps, and it kind of is, but if that works for you, then it's worth the journey!

Good luck, and be well :)

Unfortunately, I am looking for circulation statistics. I want to know how many books in each sublocation have been checked out in the past month. The report suggested below does not allow for circulation status/date, only information about all titles within that sublocation.

Thank you to the others that have suggested this enhancement and I will submit a request as well!

This is what our HS librarian (our resident Destiny expert) found:

Report on genres
In Report Builder, you can run a report on copies with Sublocations. Report Builder lets you use report limiters when searching on Sublocation (with the exception of searching on null). When searching all and using no limiters, the report groups titles with no sublocations first, then lists titles with sublocations. Run a report at Reports > Report Builder.

I asked Follett customer service this very same question yesterday!!!  Here is they reply:

Thank you for contacting Follett Technical Support.

I do not see that Destiny has anything that can report circulations based on sublocation.

You may consider submitting an enhancement. To do this, go to www.follettcommunity.com<http://www.follettcommunity.com/<http://www.follettcommunity.com<http://www.follettcommunity.com/>> and scroll to the bottom. Fine the "Connect" menu at the bottom of the page and click on the Follett Customer Portal link. Log in here and under My Account, there is a Suggest a Feature link. You will need your customer number and Destiny version.

If you have any further questions regarding this issue, please reference Case# 01385752 when contacting us. We can be reached at techsupport@follett.com or 888-511-5114 opt 2. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. CST.

Subject: [CASL-L] How to Run a Zero Circulation Report in a Sublocation in Destiny

Hi!

I am hoping someone can help us solve this problem. The fiction section at my school is genrefied through sublocation.  All of the call numbers are F.  We want to weed the Realistic Fiction section. How can we run a report on just that sublocation?

We know how to do it for the whole fiction collection, but that is overwhelming to sort through when just one sublocation is running out of space.

Thanks for any help you can give!
Alysson
