LYNSEY BURKINS
Director of Professional Learning and Teacher Advocacy

Lynsey Burkins is an elementary educator from Central Ohio. Racial and Social Justice work is one of her life’s greatest passions, her interest in it sparking long before her teaching days. After completing her masters (2009) in language, literacy, and culture from The Ohio State University, her work for critical literacy with young children became a primary focus for her. She believes books are primary vehicles to help children become more free. Lynsey is currently the National Chair of NCTE’s Build Your Stack, an initiative that works to build teacher’s expertise in knowing and using quality literature in the classroom.
ANNE WISSINGER
Chief Experience Officer

Anne joined Bookelicious as Chief Experience Officer in 2020 after a 20-year career with Scholastic Book Fairs where she created literacy programs and co-founded the Scholastic Book Fairs Reading Summits. Serving as a Board Member for the National Association of Elementary School Principals, in leadership roles for Barnes & Noble Booksellers, and volunteering for First Book, the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, and the National Center for Family Literacy (NCFL).
