Dear Kristine,

I love, love, love This Train is Being Held  by Ismee Williams. Baseball player, dancer, mental illness, Latino characters, romance, the subway, NYC, and so much more. One of my fav reads of 2021 for sure.

Best,
~Val

Good Morning!

I am in search of some suggestions.  Our 10th grade English teachers are looking to add a YA novel to their classroom reading list. They want a minority character as the main character and a story that isn't focused on racial injustice.  I am creating a list of titles and wanted to see if anyone has a novel like this being taught by their teachers with success.

Thank you.
