The school librarian before me had a copy of the Bible in the collection, but no other religious texts, which I just noticed this year while doing inventory.

A student has asked for other religious texts to be added to the library collection, and I am wondering if anyone else working at the elementary or middle school level has a recommendation for editions of non-Christian religious texts. The student is particularly interested in the Quran and the Torah (though I think perhaps the Talmud or the Hebrew Bible would also fit the need). I would prefer to cast a wide and inclusive net, so other text suggestions are welcome!

With appreciation,
Jill
