Hello All!My 8th grade ELA teacher does First Chapter Friday most weeks and sometimes I go in to read. I also created a Flipgridtopic with the idea that I could record a first chapter and she could use it if I am not able to be there in person that day. Hello all--
Is anyone else doing First Chapter Fridays in a high school? Looking for books with really good, enticing, fairly clean beginnings to read out loud to 9th graders! Would anyone want to collaborate and add suggestions to a Google Doc? I've been doing it since Sept with our freshmen and they LOVE it, so I've got a bunch that already worked, but I'd be happy to share!
