The News Literacy Project is pleased to announce National NewsLitCamp®: Misinformation, as part of National News Literacy Week, Jan. 24 – 28, 2022.

Join us on Thursday, Jan. 27, for this immersive conference built exclusively for educators! NewsLitCamp: Misinformation is a virtual event designed to help students understand, recognize, and avoid misinformation. We have a range of sessions throughout the day, starting at 8 a.m. ET and finishing with a final session at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Sessions will include insights from journalists and other experts nationwide, along with the opportunity to connect and share directly with other educators in small, virtual breakout rooms.

Learn how to curate news sources to avoid misinformation, teach your students valuable fact-checking skills, navigate extremism and conspiracy theories in the classroom, and so much more.

The day's programming will also include free resources from NLP designed to equip you with the tools to engage students with timely and practical news literacy lessons.
