We use a different program called Identikid. Students use their ID to swipe and it links directly to PowerSchool, which is our school-wide platform for grades and attendance.  We have 3 touch screen and swipe devices in the library alone.  They are now also at our main entrance and the nurse's office.  The main entrance likes them because visitors swipe their licenses - if they have any kind of alert on them (sex offender, etc.), the system immediately gives you a warning.

Does anyone here use LibraryTrac for student sign-in and sign-out? It's not listed as compliant with the CT student data privacy laws, so I'm wondering what other districts have done.

Thanks,
