I just heard through our town librarian that the Governor is switching to the i-read program this summer and won't be using the Collaborative Summer Reading Program's theme. Is anyone here familiar with i-read and have ideas about why they would do this? I thought it was nice that the state had materials that aligned with CSRP. I was disappointed about this move and was just wondering how others felt and which program people would be using this summer.
